The Fryske Akademy is there for you. Anyone with practical questions about the Frisian language may turn to the ‘Taalburo’ (‘Language Desk’). In addition to answering queries about spelling or whether something is ‘proper Frisian’, the ‘Taalburo’ advises people on drawing up specialised texts such as deeds, other official papers, or technical documents.

You can also contact us with questions about the Frisian culture or history. Both private individuals and governmental organisations, companies, and institutes are most welcome.
