Ut de Smidte fan de Fryske Akademy is the Frisian-language newsletter that the Akademy publishes four times per year for its members and donors in return for their annual contribution. The Fryske Akademy uses Ut de Smidte to disseminate information with regard to publications and progress on projects. The newsletter also devotes attention to other bits of news about the ins and outs of the Akademy and its staff members
