Conference Day on Frisian Linguistics
From student to emeritus, Frisists meet on the Conference Day on Frisian Linguistics. Of interest to everyone who is actively or passively engaged in Frisian linguistics.
Linguistics Day 2017
The Linguistics Circle of the Frisian Academy (Fryske Akademy) organizes its annual meeting in October this year. The ninth Conference on Frisian Linguistics is of interest to everyone who actively or passively participates in Frisian linguistics: grammar, phonetics/phonology, onomastics, lexicology, sociolinguistics, historical linguistics.
Papers focus on the results of scientific research, but presentations of research plans, of speculations or of language corpora are also welcome. They can be presented in any of the West-Germanic languages.

Program and abstracts
The Linguistics Day starts with a plenary lecture by Arjen Versloot, after which the program is split into two parallel sessions in the Sânwâlden hall and the Heritage Room.
