Managing director Dr Nelleke IJssennagger-van der Pluijm is on maternity leave from 17 October 2023. Marit Bijlsma; will assume the role of acting director-director from that date.

Marit Bijlsma is also currently employed at the Fryske Akademy. She is Research Funding and Strategic Cooperation Coordinator and sits on the Management Team. In cooperation with the other staff members, she will ensure the continuity of the current dossiers the coming months.
