Biografy
Evelyn Bosma (Rotterdam, 1989) studearre Taalwittenskip en Latynsk-Amearikastúdzjes oan de Universiteit Leiden. Yn 2017 ferdigene se har proefskrift (Fryske Akademy/UvA) oer de taal- en kognitive ûntjouwing fan Frysk-Nederlânske twatalige bern. Dêrnei wurke se as dosint en postdoktoraal ûndersiker oan de Universiteit Leiden en de Universiteit Utrecht. No is se postdoktoraal ûndersiker by de Fryske Akademy, dêr’t se tegearre mei kollega’s út Noarwegen ûndersyk docht nei meartalige geletterdheid.
As psycholinguist hâldt se har dwaande mei de fraach hoe’t twataligens yn ’e holle wurket. Hjirby makket se gebrûk fan taalfeardigenstesten, reaksjetiideksperiminten, eye-tracking en EEG. Se hat ûnder oaren artikels skreaun oer kognaten, code-switching en de kognitive effekten fan twataligens.

Yn 2021 krige Evelyn Bosma de Keetje Hodshon Priis takend en wie se runner-up fan de Gratama Wittenskipspriis. Yn 2020 wûn se tegearre mei har eardere MA-studint Naomi Nota de Klokhuis Wittenskipspriis. Nei oanlieding dêrfan makke Het Klokhuis in ôflevering oer Twataligens. Yn 2018 wie se nominearre foar de AVT/Anéla Dissertaasjepriis en yn 2017 wûn se de Wittenskipspriis fan de RUG/Campus Fryslân en de Best Poster Award op de TABU-dei.
