Biography
Anne Merkuur (1989, Heerenveen) received her bachelor's degree in Dutch language and culture from the University of Amsterdam in 2011 and also completed her master's degree in General Linguistics there in 2013. She obtained her PhD at the University of Amsterdam in 2021 for her research on change in Frisian verbal inflection (Changes in Modern Frisian verbal inflection): a study she conducted at the Fryske Akademy. She works as a linguistic researcher at the Fryske Akademy and conducts research in the field of Frisian morphology, language variation and language change in particular.
