External evaluation
The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) is responsible for the financial and scientific monitoring of the Fryske Akademy. In this framework, a study evaluating the institute's research is conducted once in every six years on behalf of the KNAW. An external evaluation committee gives an independent expert opinion on the scientific achievements of the Fryske Akademy over the past six years.
The most recent visitation took place in November 2015. Evaluation dossiers are available below (in Dutch).
