Bauke Aalbers of working association Maritime History talks about love for old ships

In radio program Buro de Vries on Omrop Fryslân he talks about the special ships that are in the water and in the yard at his home.

For example, Aalbers has a historic ship once owned by the Danish royal family and also a Scottish cutter that belonged to a famous Scottish Lord. “Boats tell a story, I like that,” he says in the podcast broadcast Sunday, June 8, 2025, on Omrop Fryslân.
