Biography

Odille Reitsma studied English Language and Culture (BA) at the University of Groningen, with a minor in Journalism, and participated in an exchange program at University College Cork in Ireland. During her bachelor's degree, she specialized in modern literature, while also taking courses in medieval literature and linguistics. In 2025, she completed her master's degree in Literature Today (MA) at Utrecht University, specializing in contemporary English-language literature, and did an internship at Loft Books (Ambo|Anthos), where she worked in the editorial and marketing/PR departments.

Since 2026, Reitsma has been a research assistant for the Mercator European Knowledge Center for Multilingualism and Language Learning at the Fryske Akademy.
