• The story cycle De Winskhoed fan Fortunatus/ De wenshoed van Fortunatus by Waling Dijkstra (1821-1914) was published in book form for the first time in 2023. Abe de Vries, guest researcher at the Fryske Akademy, brought together the stories in a somewhat modernised Frisian spelling and also provided the translation into Dutch and an introduction to the work. The book is the thirteenth book in the literary Iduna Series of the Fryske Akademy (Akademy number 1140) and was published by DeRyp publishers.
   
• On Rôze Sneon, October 16, 2021, the bilingual anthology 'Do draachst de leafde oan'/You carry the love, Literatuer fan Fryslân troch in pink glasses/Literature of Friesland through rose-colored glasses, was presented at Tresoar. The book was created at the initiative of Tresoar and provides an overview of LGBT+ literature in Fryslân. Afûk is the publisher. The book is included in the Literêre Rigen of the Fryske Akademy, Rige Minsken and Boeken, nû. 28.
   
• On Friday 10 September, at the Academy Day in the WTC in Leeuwarden, the anthology of the work of Jouwert Jouwertsma (1857-1889) was presented: Lang haw 'k net nei skoalle west. The collection of prose and poetry is edited and introduced by Rients Aise Faber. The book was published in the Iduna series, a series of nineteenth-century texts by the Fryske Akademy. The first copy was presented to managing director Dr. Nelleke IJssennagger-van der Pluijm.
   
• In the Iduna series, a series of nineteenth-century texts by the Fryske Akademy, an anthology of 'De ferhalen fan Waling Dykstra, Folksskriuwer' (2020) was published. Prose, edited and introduced by Abe de Vries. Click here for a report of the presentation.
