Presentations Smith, Bergsma, Merkuur, NanoDays III, Poznań (Poland)

PhD student Meg Smith and researchers Fenna Bergsma en Anne Merkuur from the Fryske Akademy have been invited to give presentations at the NanoDays III conference at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland.

Meg Smith is a PhD candidate at the Fryske Akademy and will give a presentation entitled ‘The Nanosyntax of Inverted L and U-shaped syncretisms in Old Frisian’.

Linguists Fenna Bergsma and Anne Merkuur will give a presentation entitled ‘A Nanosyntactic Look at the Dental Suffix Spread in the West Frisian 2SG Past’. A summary of their talk can be read here.

About NanoDays

This third edition of NanoDays is once again entirely devoted to nanosyntax and related linguistic research. The conference will take place on 8–9 September at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. The keynote speakers are Pavel Caha (Masaryk University, Brno) and Michal Starke (Masaryk University, Brno).
