Evening Archaeological Working Group on findings in old churches

The board of the Archaeological Working Group invites you to a members' meeting on Thursday, 26 November 2024, in the evening at 19.45 in the Fryske Akademy building in Leeuwarden.

In addition to dealing with received documents and announcements, two interesting lectures are on the programme. Henk Sloots will talk about coin finds from Frisian churches: what do they contribute to our understanding of daily (small) use of money, building history and numismatics? Sible de Roos will talk about what someone might come across in old Frisian churches.

Do you also have any nice finds at home? Bring them along, and there will be an opportunity to show and discuss them to other members after the lectures.
