Nomination
Donors and members of the Akademy can nominate people for appointment as members of the Fryske Akademy throughout the year. On Akademy Day, new members are appointed by the director-director, who is supported by the nomination committee in assessing the nomination.

Submission of nominations
For appointment at Akademy Day in 2024 (Friday 13 September), nominations must be submitted by Sunday 31 March 2024. This can be done via a form on the website.

If you are not sure whether someone may already be a member of the Fryske Akademy at this time, please check with the secretariat in advance.
