Biography:

Charlie Robinson-Jones studied BA European Languages & Cultures and MA Linguistics (Multilingualism), both at the University of Groningen. He joined the Mercator team in March 2021, and works on the Regional Dossier series (editor) and other projects.

Besides his work at Mercator, Robinson-Jones is a researcher within the research group Multilingualism & Literacy at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands. His research explores how pre-service teachers are prepared for teaching in linguistically and culturally diverse classrooms, and the implementation and effectiveness of Design Based Education in primary teacher training regarding the field of diversity and multilingualism.
